Does anybody know anything about custom car bodywork?
What I'd like to do is take a cheap more modern and readily available car car and give it a custom body to make it more like a classic* car. I don't want to do a replica and for insurance and money reasons, I'm not looking to do a restoration, so I'm looking to try to get the best of both worlds. Essentially making a custom front and rear end for a newer (90s - early 00s) car that looks like a cool classic (50s-70s) car.
Pic semi related. Shows the difference between a newer car (on the left) and an older car (on the right).
Evening /diy/, I wanted to share with you something I just made, I'm quite proud of it, although I'm sure it's utter crapola compared to what most of you can crank out.
It's actually my first /howto/diy/ project. I'm a soldering virgin and after I got frustrated trying to fix my headphones I realized I didn't have a proper place to hold the iron, so I made this.
Let me hear your thoughts, maybe show me your first /howto/ if you were vain and took pictures like I did?
